A Ben­ton man with 14 prior felony con­vic­tions pleaded guilty Mon­day in Gar­land County Cir­cuit Court to mul­ti­ple felony counts from five dif­fer­ent cases and was sen­tenced to 25 years in prison and clas­si­fied as an habit­ual offender.Lloyd David McEl­murry, 38, was set to stand trial on all charges but plead guilty.

Gas prices in Arkansas are up 10 cents over the past week. The aver­age cost for a gal­lon of unleaded gas is $3.52. That’s up from $3.42 a week ago. The national aver­age is $3.69 per gallon.
